The economy

Double dip recession? Sure looks like a possibility. It's being discussed on all the news channels. New unemployment filings on the rise. Long term unemployed running out of benefits. Congress says "No more extensions!" With no jobs and no unemployment benefits people are not buying things. Defaulting on their mortgages, rent, car loans, credit cards, etc. The economy is headed back downhill.
Instead of trying to turn the economy around and get people back to work, our government has been squabbling over health care, immigration, and wall street reform. While these may be important issues, their top priority right now should be this country's economic health. We've got to start making things and building things again. And Congress should be doing everything in their power to create incentives and laws that encourage this.
But, guess what? They're not! They're positioning themselves for re-election in November. Well, I say if they're not concerned about our livelihood or our jobs, why should we be concerned about theirs. Send them all packing. Vote all incumbents OUT!
